Health Insurance and Healthcare are very close in wording, they though have a vast difference in what they actually are. Let’s break it down as simply as possible so that we are properly informed going forward.
Merriam-Webster says that Health Insurance is, “insurance against loss through illness of the insured.” Dictionary defines it as, “insurance that compensates the insured for expenses or loss incurred for medical reasons, as through illness or hospitalization.”
Healthcare defined by Merriam-Webster says, “efforts made to maintain or restore physical, mental, or emotional well-being especially by trained and licensed professionals.” “The field concerned with the maintenance or restoration of the health of the body or mind & any of the procedures or methods employed in this field,” is how Dictionary provides it.

Okay, now that we have the official definitions out of the way. Let’s talk about it in everyday talk.
