What a Mighty Bridge Builder he was!

He was a determined man that desired to be the difference in our country. He was a bridge builder between things that needed to be attended to with those that needed to do it. He was strong in his convictions and his words have stood the test of this short time in our country’s history.

Martin Luther King, Jr., January 15, 1929-April 4, 1968, grew up among a family of ministers and became one himself. He is well known for his works among the community in his pursuit of a peaceful demonstration of change.

When you come to Cenla Independent Insurance, you’ll see a display of photos and some books about him around the office. He is admired here because he stood up for a cause that he believed in. He made a difference.

One of the most favorite things he said was, “Judge a man not by the color of his skin, but by the content of his character.” It’s such a powerful phrase delivered to us by such a moving man with a powerful spirit.

When we have clients come in, it’s encouraging for them to see a variety of history represented. It’s great conversation starters that gives us plenty of interesting things to talk about and helps us to get to know each other better to build a bridge between our clients and the providers.

Come by and see us, you won’t know what we’ll find in common!
