Immutable Laws, what are they?

Immutable Laws. What are they? Is it likely that you have had them in place for a long time and you just didn’t know it?

In this blog post we are going to take a look at a different topic, though still related to insurance because it’s part of our makeup here at Cenla Independent Insurance. Upon building our website, we knew that we had to add some information to the about section. We didn’t want it to be “another boring” about section. We wanted to add value for those that would come across it.

Part of who we are here at Cenla Independent Insurance are the things about us that are pretty much unchanging, though they might slightly adjust over time. One small business author and entrepreneur, Mike Michalowicz, has included Immutable Laws as part of his teaching throughout his books and conference talks. This is what he has to say about how to define them.

“Immutable Laws are the rules of our lives. They define you. They define your business.

Immutable Laws are a blend of ethics, core values and self-assigned law, all wrapped up into one. They are the rules we have defined for ourselves, almost subconsciously, on what is right and what is wrong. What is acceptable and what is not. What makes you happy, and what doesn’t. They are with you for life and they barely ever change. And when you notice the change, it just naturally makes sense.”

We have worked hard to first come up with our values, and then through our values, use them to define our immutable laws. See our Immutable Laws here on our website: https://www.cenlainsuranceagency.com/immutablelaws

Throughout upcoming blogs, we will discuss and break down our Immutable Laws, Values and so forth. We will also continue the Health Insurance historical journey. Thank you for being here.
